On the Tuesday 9th May 2013, THA was the guest of Ross Turner and the production team for a tour of the Scenic Studios workshop at Preston. Judy Leech is preparing a full report shortly. In the meantime here is an outline of some of the things Ross spoke about:
- previous productions for the Australian Ballet and major musicals
- recent designs for the Queensland Ballet
- recent trends away from hand painting to digital printing for drops etc
- his collection of JCW production registers & photographs from the 1920s
