Statement of purpose
The principle purposes of the association is to:
Promote and encourage the understanding of Australia’s rich performing arts history.
In order to achieve this principle purpose, the association shall engage in the following activities:
- Undertake research into Australia’s performing arts history
- Digitise historic documents, including moving images and audio, relating to the performing arts
- Promote and publish this and other related information to enhance public knowledge
- Encourage the identification, documentation and preservation of items relating to Australia’s performing arts history.
- Encourage the preservation of Australia’s performance spaces
