    Eileen Kramer, 8 November 1914 - 15 November 2024

Ms. Kramer started dancing with the innovative Bodenwieser Ballet Company in Sydney after seeing one of their performances and studying with its founder, Gertrud Bodenwieser for three years. She toured with them around Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and India for ten years. At one point she was also a model for the great Norman Lindsay.

She formed her own company, designing and making all of the costumes and settings herself. She performed almost until the end of her long life and is believed to be the longest living woman in New South Wales, and the longest living dancer in history. Eileen was 110 years and one week old. Dancer, choreographer, artist and writer, she was a true legend and inspiration to many.
