Adele Johnston crossed over from opera to cabaret to musical theatre with great ease.
Her work for Opera Australia included Der Rosenkavalier, The Marriage of Figaro, Orpheus in the Underworld, Suor Angelica, Gianna Schicci and My Fair Lady. Appearances in musical theatre included Camelot with Richard Harris, Follies in Concert, A Little Night Music, La Cage Aux Folles and Love Never Dies.
Adele was born on June 20, 1959 and died on July 28, 2025.
