Melbourne-born actor, David Argue was born on 26 December 1959. A NIDA graduate, his stage work included Once in A Lifetime, Giants, The Job, The Truth Show, A Country Wife, The Ruling Class and a long run with the revival of the musical Hair. He appeared in many Australian movies including Gallipoli, Going Down, BMX Bandits, Razorback, The Coming of Age and Crimetime.
His television credits were just as varied and included appearances in The Restless Years, Copshop, The Sullivans, Water Rats and Corelli.
David died, aged 65, on 30 July 2025 from cancer.
