Married (1) Margaret Bolton, 16 October 1909, Sydney, NSW, Australia, (2) Madge Stuart (actress), 6 February 1928, London, England. Died 16 November 1934, London, England, aged 45.

On stage in England and Australia, 1908-1917, prior to becoming one of the West End's most successful revue writers during the 1920s.
