Stage and television entertainer and pianist 6.5.1930 - 1.9.2013. Erris was born in South Africa, moving to Australia in 1957. He lived and worked on the Gold Coast until the mid seventies before moving to Sydney. Erris was a regular performer on the Mike Walsh Show on Channel 9 and also on the Don Lane Show. Best known as pianist with fellow performer Kevin Byers.
Peter Johnson AustraliaPeter has undertaken extensive research into the work of his great great grandfather and Australian's most prolific colonial theatre architect George R. Johnson (1840-1898). He has written entries for the Australian Dictionary of Biography and the Encyclopedia of Australian Architecture. Peter operates an architectural practice in St Kilda and acts as a valuer of architectural documents for the Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program.
